Obviously, my name is Lily. Born in New York, the city will always be my home even though I'm not there right now.
I'm a pretty simple person, but I guess sometimes my life can seem pretty unusual to others.
I consider myself to be a pretty artistic person. I enjoy creating art, expecially studio stuff... like painting or design.
MUSIC is also a big part of my life since I'm kind of a performer.
I sing basically all the time just about anywhere and even though I'm not fantastic, I try to be... haha.
If you knew me, you probably already know how important FASHION is to me. I take pride in how I dress no matter how much someone hates my wardrobe.
At one point in my life I really wanted to become a fashion designer and perhaps I still want to. Maybe in the future I will go back but as of now I want to take things easy.
Trying my best to be a good person, I think I'm growing up pretty well.
I tend to make a lot of mistakes but I've learned that it is only natural and as much as I hate saying this... everything happens for a reason.
I'm grateful for all that I have and I try not to take what I have for granted, but if I do.... forgive me.
I have many goals in life and I hope to accomplish most of them.
I seem like a very materialistic person, but in the end, all I want is HAPPINESS.

Prom, Graduation, Pageant and all that good stuff
hhaa i guess june was a big month for me, and basically all seniors everywhere. The end of high school basically wraps up childhood and leaves it behind. All the lessons we've learned in the past will help us be better people in the future, and yet... we are still sooooo young.
You know when you're a freshmen, you're kindda like "oh hey look at the seniors." and idk, i guess you kinda wait for your turn to be at the top. Well i guess it wasn't like how i thought it'd be. This year, i've changed a lot i guess i'm happy to be the person that i am right now. i went to a not so great school in a not so well-known town, but i know i would have been really different if i attended a blue ribbon school.
Prom(s) was pretty good. Some things went wrong but yea overall it wasn't bad. Both of my dresses were black and white. (i'm so classiccccc!) I like being pretty for stuff like this but honestly it was more about the friends and having a good time. I'm glad i went after all.
Graduation was last week for me and yea. umm... i don't know what to say. Many of the people that i've known for years, i will never see again. I won't miss about, say 75% of them but it just seems odd that that was it ... hahaa i've never been too good with goodbye.
AnimeNext... was pretty good this year hahaa. still the same old crazy and weird ass people <3 enough said.
NHS Teen Idol. yes, i participated in the nation high school teen idol auditions. I didn't get to the semi-finals but it was its okay :) how many failures have i gone through? too many and at the same time, not enough. My auditions went pretty well, i'll improve and do better next time i'm on the stage heehee
I'm quite excited for the National American Miss pageant. I still have like about 2 months before the pageant but i want it to a REALLY COOL experience. i need to practice, a lot. and for the first time, i can truthfully say, i'm extremely lacking. I need to learn to be proper and all that good stuff. It seems so foreign to me but so natural. I know i have what it takes, i just have to find that lily inside me.
Well... this was a pretty good blog i would say so ^^
i'm officially a freshmen in college now and honestly i can't wait. But first... Summer 2010 :)
