First day of school; an extra special outfit!

First day of school! As a child, it was something your mom or dad always dressed you up for, took your picture in the front yard, and sent you off. Well, at 21 years old, there’s no shame in still getting all spiffy for the first day (and taking a picture of it). Here’s what I put together:
What I Wore:
ELLE ruffle shirt (purchased 3 years ago at Kohl’s); green and gold foral/chain scarf ($14.99 at Target); black cotton skirt from the ’80s (hand-me-down from my grandmother); black clasp belt (came from a shirt I purchased back in the day); black stockings (purchased 2 years ago at Kohl’s); Cherokee green flats (purchased 5 or 6 years ago, can’t remember where from); Lia Sophia green and brown-stoned ring (purchased 4 years ago, around $65).
What a teacher’s pet!
I had a lot of fun rocking this outfit. Tucking in your shirt is very underrated. You can always package a tucked in shirt with a belt and/or scarf, and it will take your outfit to another level.
